Burning Man returns once again from August 25 to September 2, 2024, marking its 38th year of celebration. If you missed the Main Sale back in April, don't fret. We've put together everything you need to know about how to get Burning Man tickets.

Based out of the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, the annual gathering is a tribute to art and community, rather than a music festival. Burning Man attendees usually camp out on the grounds for the duration of the event. More than 70,000 people attend annually, including many A-list celebrities. Last year's Burning Man was on the receiving end of some major rainfall, which turned the camp into a muddy mess, so attendees are hoping for better weather this year.

Keep reading for a full breakdown of how to get to Burning Man in 2024, including original and resale ticket prices. While there's no current sale for original standard tickets, you're welcome to peruse resale websites like Vivid Seats and StubHub at your own pace.

How to get Burning Man tickets

Original Burning Man tickets are sold through Burning Man's ticketing platform. Tickets are sold in waves, starting with the FOMO Sale and the Stewards Sale in early 2024, followed by the Main Sale in April. In addition to the Kid Tickets release on July 10, there is one more original ticket opportunity scheduled: the OMG Sale from July 24 to July 26. Burning Man has a Secure Ticket Exchange Program, but listings are also currently available through resale websites like Vivid Seats and StubHub

How much are Burning Man tickets?

Original standard Burning Man tickets range in price from $575 to $2,500. Burning Man's Ticket Aid program released 5,00o tickets for $225 each, but the period for this option passed in March. Vehicle passes go for $150.

Resale websites like Vivid Seats and StubHub have an abundance of ticket listings. At the time of writing, the cheapest General Admission listings on Vivid Seats start at $595, while the cheapest General Admission listings on StubHub start at $681. Parking passes have become some of the hottest commodities for Burning Man, starting at $422 on Vivid Seats and $556 on StubHub.

Note: Certain services and regions prohibit the resale of tickets. Business Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal reselling of tickets, and entry into an event is at the venue's discretion.
